The first night I wore these boots I ended up walking over a mile, the following night was more like two miles (got seriously lost in a new city while at a conference). These boots were so comfortable, I didn't even notice them while walking or after taking them off. I ordered a wide and they are wider than I expected so I just have to wear thick socks (makes the experience even more comfortable). The only downside is they are not as tall as I would like them to be. There is at least 2-3 inches between my knee and the top of the boot - but, as you may have experienced, I could not find a wide-calf to-the-knee boot and decided that comfort was more important. I'm glad I made the choice as I think I'll be wearing these for a long time. I've worn them with dresses that come down over the knee and they look really cute. If you wear black tights it closes the visual gap between dress and boot. Also the price is great compared to any other boot of this quality. I highly recommend them.

I can't wear most knee high boots at the store because I have muscular calves. Sometimes I can squeeze myself into them, but I don't like my skin getting caught in zippers. ;) These seemed like they'd work out for me. Well, they aren't leather, but the man made material feels a good deal like leather. One can also rest assured that getting them wet won't be an issue. The lining is very soft and would certainly be comfortable. The foot bed is just like my other Naturalizers, not too plush and not DR Marten's rock hard. However, I think the folks at Naturalizer are trying to beat around the bush a little too much when it comes to the description on these boots. What they mean isn't Wide-Calf or plus shaft, they mean plus-sized. I'm a clothing size 6-8. My ankle is 8 1/2 inches going around the thickest part were the bones are. My calves measure 16 1/2 inches; the size 6 1/2 should have fit my legs exactly. They were loose at the top and strangely baggy at the ankle. I guess the baggy ankles helps when tucking in jeans, but I wanted to wear them with skirts. I felt like they would start slouching down on me if I wore them for any length of time. They happened to be a little big in the foot for me, so they are going back. I'm not sure if I will try a smaller size as Amazon doesn't do "exchanges".

In short, if you have generally large legs (from the ankle to the knee) then go for a Naturalizer "plus shaft" boot. If you have normal ankles and larger calves then I guess there is no hope. Also these probably won't be anywhere near knee high for taller people. I'm 5' and they seemed a tad short--but it wasn't really an issue for me.

These boots are great. The only reason they don't get 5 stars is that I wish they were leather. But they look good, they are comfortable, the wide calf actually fits my leg, and they have a nice squared toe. I'm not a fan of riding boots with an almond-shaped toe.

The boots are very nice looking-but not just larger in the calf, extra large in the ankle area too. So large in the ankles that the boots slipped when I walked. Unless you have "Kankles" the boots will not work! Way too baggy!

That being said, as far as the shipping-cost was very reasonable when sent, & arrived within the week.

I did return the boots (Cost over 13.00 for me to ship back) & was only refunded the cost of the boots; no shipping charges-both to me, or to return.

I was looking for an inexpensive alternative to the Uggs sweater boots, and this seemed to be the closest where I could wear them pulled up or folded down. I've been really happy with these, and actually like them better than the Uggs, since they actually stay up and don't sag as much as the Uggs do. They're lined with sheepskin inside the foot part, so they're very warm, and the sole is actually sturdier than I expected. I had read that these shoes run small, so since I'm a true 6.5, I got a 7, and it's a perfect fit. 6 would definitely have been too small. There were some pieces of fuzz and threads hanging off the boots when I first got them, but I trimmed them and brushed them off and it was fine. They're really cute!!

I would have loved to give these boots 5 stars all around, but when it comes to shoes, fit and comfort are most important to me, second to style. My biggest issue was how the seam near the heel/ankle area jutted into the inside of the shoe. I find myself stepping on it as I walk, and you almost have to drag your feet to prevent that little fold from going under your foot. Thick socks nor lacing the boot tighter fixes this. I honestly do not believe it's a manufacturer's defect, as this "fold" is visible on some of the photos I've seen online of this boot. Perhaps there is an insert I can purchase as a fix...

Aside from fit issues, I am completely in love with the look of these boots. I bought the black ones and they are a rich black color, not washed out and grayish like the product photos. I've gotten many compliments in the very short time that I've owned them and am hoping that over time, the boot will better mold to my foot. Size-wise, this shoe runs true to size. I wear a 6.5 to 7, and 7's were the perfect length. The foot bed is super soft, and the rubber soled bottoms have perfect traction. Just an FYI: the boots do not have a heel as shown in the small thumbnails- the soles are black rubber, like the tan boots.

No wonder there's such a steep discount. When the boots arrived there was this black tar like substance on the side of one boot. I assume it was glue from the Chinese factory where they were made, but it could have been something else. It was next to impossible to remove as it was hard and crusty. I managed to remove 99% of the substance but the process definitely left scratches on the boot. I decided not to return the boots as they were a gift for my girlfriend who is overseas and I had to ship them now in order for them to make it there before Christmas. I managed to clean it enough that you can't notice it that much, but I am now weary of buying discounted items on Amazon.

Short fitting size, cheap plastic shaft with white flowers as if printed with a very poor old offset printer, awful!! Was this on purpose?? I wonder... oh well, then thats a case, of bad taste... These boots do not worth 10 dollars and even given, not worth to be worn. I asked Authentic Pro Sports to refund me fully and take away from me asap these terrifying Docs, a true design mistake.

These boots are actually very cute. I bought them in cognac, and they go with just about anything. Contrary to what a previous review said, the leather doesn't seem cheap at all. They're well made- as most Steve Madden shoes are. I'm really pleased with the purchase.

That being said, the boots run a little large. I'd buy them a half size smaller than your normal size. Also, there isn't any arch support, so they're a little uncomfortable to wear at first.

Had such high expectations, and a big let down. These boots are CHEAPLY made. The exterior sole has absolutely NO tread, the interior footbed has NO insole, and the leather is some of the cheapest leather I have ever seen. I ordered 1/2 a size down (7 1/2) - I normally wear a size 8 if footwear is medium width as I have wide feet. The boots fit perfectly and are comfortable. I'd suggest before ordering these to measure your calf at the widest point over the type of pants/jeans you'll be wearing to make sure they'll fit corectly (which is what I did). The boots may be quite snug if you have larger calves. Had a bit of glue on the bottom of one boot but it came right off.

They fit me okay on the inside, but from the outside the foot part looked about 2 sizes bigger than any other pair of shoes I own. This boot is pretty and I was very excited when I ordered it on sale from Amazon for 59.50. However when the boot arrived I was extremely disappointed. The shoe fit perfectly, however the top of the boots are made so small that I don't know how anyone could wear them. I have thin legs and was able to zip the boot up, however it was so tight that it did not allow any movement. Also, the toe of the shoe is more pointed than you can tell on the picture. I sent them back.

I read the other reviews and thought 'how bad can a boot be?'. After ordering and putting the boot on I now know just how bad a boot can be. Now I'm asking myself 'It's a basic black stiletto high boots, how in the world did they screw that up so badly?'

I have a high arch, it was difficult to get my foot in. There is a very badly placed seem on the back smack in the middle of the heel instead of where it should be- at the top of the curve of the heel. It rubs.

I have yet to figure out how the ankles can simultaneously be too tight and yet be crinkling. I have large muscular calves and will need to stretch one of the shafts but that's not a complaint as I'm used to that.

I live in knee high stilettos so I'm used to a bit of discomfort but as I sit here typing this I can't feel my feet due to circulation being cut off at the ankles. Except for that weird seam. That I can feel. These should be thirty dollar boots. They're not worth a penny more.

I ordered these boots from Amazon because of the low price. I got the leather ones. They fit really well. I saw a lot of reviews on here saying that the calf was too small but it's a little bit loose on me unless I tuck jeans into them. There is a lot of toe room surprisingly. For being 3 inch stiletto heels, they're actually pretty comfortable. I'm usually wary of buying apparel online because I like to try stuff on before I buy it but I was pleased with this purchase. Definitely a good boot to get if you need to add some variety to your shoe collection.

It's cute enough to match a majority of the outfits I wear, AND it's comfortable enough to walk in all day and night (I live in NYC and walk everywhere, so comfortable shoes are not something to joke about). I have to admit that my right pinky toe started rubbing against the side of the boot a bit, but not enough to cause a blister... I'm just guessing that sometime in the future, it might get uncomfortable. Also the bottom of the boot doesn't have much traction, but I've only really noticed it on hardwood floors. Sidewalks seem to be fine.

These are great boots! I think I didn't take them off my feet for the first 3 days I had them (I probably would have slept in them if I could haha). The only reason I didn't give them a 5 star is because I do have some problems with the wrap around tie. For me, they often feel loose, even when I have jeans stuffed in them (and especially when I'm wearing them without). I find myself having to tie, re-tie, and tighten them several times a day- which gets annoying. BUT besides that, they are seriously comfortable and everything I was hoping they'd be when I bought them!

Due to unusual circumstances (I'm traveling), I have worn these boots all day every single day for three months. They are fabulous! Believe it or not, they look just as good as the day I received them!! There are no signs of wear!! They have held up far far better than I could have hoped for, and far better than any Uggs I've owned. I wear them tied with the flap up, and I am constantly stopped and complimented on them. SIZING: I typically wear a woman's size 7 shoe. I ordered a size 6 boot. They fit GREAT with bare feet - definitely not too tight at all. After three solid months of wear, they've actually stretched a little bit, but nothing that an added insole won't cure. I would DEFINiTELY order a size smaller than your normal shoe size. I think they are an excellent buy at this price - you won't be disappointed.

As a result of having three broken toes I can never again wear heels...I own Uggs Australia classic tall boots in Baked clay, grey, brown, sage, chestnut, sunflower yellow, black, terrecotta, pink, blue, lilac, sand etc...They are fabulous I love them!!!! Especially if you have problem feet...I prefer the classic talls as I like to fold the top of the boot over exposing the inside..The classics are very light weight with a light weight sole. They don't pull down from the weight of a heavier sole as the off brands often do...I wash them with water and a bit of soap, let them dry over night and they look great...Great with jeans....I size down for a super soft comfy snug fit but can still fit socks in them..They are perfect for the beach or the mountains or for everyday..I love them.

I bought 3 pair ( 1 for me and for my 13 and 10 year old daughters). We all love them! They are comfortable, cute (no matter what others say) and don't make your feet sweat. Trust me, this is a big deal after living with my teenager and her faux sheepskin slippers (Ugh!). The only problem is that they require regular care, particularly for my youngest. She has SOAKED them at least three times (we live in Michigan)and even waterproofing doen't keep them from VERY dark water stains. I researched on line and found that cleaning them with vinegar does the trick! Save yourself the money and don't buy the cleaner- vinegar is cheap and available! I pretty much clean them and re-waterproof them once a month. They still look great! They'd be ruined if not for the regular care. That makes these boots expensive AND high maintenance. They do run small-order a full size down. You'll be glad you did.

I have to say these are one of my favorite brands ever. in fact i now own 12 pairs of ugg boots they really are comfortable whether you wear them as slippers or for everyday. but i have to warn you because of the flat sole they are not that great for walking long distances unless you put in an insole. i have to say my favorite ones i own are the classic tall lavender the classic tall patchwork and the sunset in teal. definitely worth the money because they last long my oldest pair is over 5 years old and going strong.

I wear these boots with everything. They are so comfortable and actually have a little arch support. I love them. I ordered the tan ones but will be ordering the black ones too. Bought these boots as an alternative to the Uggs. They are very comfortable, warm and the soles are quite sturdy. They were a little itchy at first but feel great now, don't need to wear socks with them. I've worn Uggs before and these are very comparable. Sizing seems to run small. I generally wear a 7.5 and ordered the 7. Great color, stitching appears well sewn and I also waterproofed them to withstand a little rain. Overall, great pair of boots!
